Murl DAY, 68, died at his home in Waveland late Monday afternoon Aug 14, 1961. He was born in Kingman, May 6, 1893, to John and Ida Jones Day. He served in WWI and on Feb 9, 1920 he was married to Geneva Lewis. Survivors include the wife; six daughters; Mrs. Josephine Stewart of Waveland; Mrs. Susie Witsman of Lodi; Mrs. Wanda McMasters of near Wallace, Mrs. Mary Fisher of Alamo; Mrs. Martha Rose Peterman, Crawfordsville and Nora Ann Day at home; 5 sons, Archie Glenwood of Battleground; Gordon of Darlington and John, Richard and Morris at home; 28 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and half-sister. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman with Rev. Lester Niles of Russellville officiating. Burial in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. -- typed by kbz
